The heat-insulating roofing tiles has a box portion extending along the interior surface. The box portion comprises two or more compartments, the top one (6) acting as a ventilation cell, while the bottom one (6a) accommodates heat-insulating material (12). In the lower face of the bottom compartment a notch can be formed to accommodate a roofing slate, and the bottom compartment can be of greater height than the top one. The design allows free circulation of air underneath the tile top face, thus relieving it of thermal stress, particularly during frost.
|
