PURPOSE:To enable one switchboard to cover a wide-area circuit by adding a controller when the number of control circuits by a functionally-classified controller exceeds a prescribed value attending the addition of circuits and functions. CONSTITUTION:Common controller NC0...NCn function to change a dial number into equipment position information, to convert the route of an access code, to select a trunk and channel, and to link a switch network, and are divided according to the classification by kinds. Further, a CPU controls controller on a functional unit and when the number of control circuits by function controller NC0 exceeds its limit attending the addition of circuits and functions, controlle NC1 is added to extend the system until the maximum network controller NCn. Consequently, one switchboard can cover a wide-area circuit. |
