<p>A recording and/or playback apparatus for record carriers which are accommodated in cassettes comprises a cassette container which is movable between a loading position and an operating position. For said cassette container a movable support is provided, on which the container is movably disposed and by which the cassette container can be moved between the loading position and the operation position, and on which at least one scanning element for the record carrier is mounted outside the cassette container which is in the loading position, whilst for moving the cassette container control elements are provided, which are activated during the movement of the container from the loading position to the operating position, with the aid of which elements a cassette inserted in the container can be moved in the direction of the scanning element.</p> |
