<p>The chassis jacking point for the car is formed by a hole (16) in a chassis member, directed to the ground. The outside edge of the car body is pressed with a groove (20) leading to the jacking hole so that the locating head (32) of the jack is easily slid towards the hole. The groove is profiled to fit the jacking head. The jacking point is thus easily found in the dark so that a safe and secure lift is obtained. The grooves are pressed into the side sills.</p> |
