Automative engine intake air pressure increasing system - uses multistage fan driven mechanically or by air friction

The system increases the intake air pressure of an automotive engine, using a two- or multi-stage fan, driven mechanically or by the wind when travelling, or a combination of both. The fan can have rotors of aluminium or plastic, mounted one behind the other on an overhung shaft in a housing containing intermediate discs forming the separate states. The drive to it can be taken from the dynamo shaft with a 2:1 or 3:1 step-up ratio. Travel wind power can be transmitted to the fan from a turbine wheel on an extension of the shaft and having axial-flow blades, working in an air pressure with guide vanes.
