The seed drill has a frame with one or more sowing units and below them a seed feed tube and a furrow-cutting unit with a knife, together with a pressure wheel behind the unit when seen in the travel direction. On opposite sides of the knife(13) are coulters(21, 22) cutting strips of ground and thrusting them upwards, and between them is a nozzle(23) spraying in the direction opposite to the travel direction, and connected to a liquid storage tank. The knife can be of the blade type, coupled to the frame by a bar, its cutting edge curving in the travel direction, while in the opposite direction it divides into two sections deviating from each other, with the seed feed tube between them. The coulters are mounted on the outer ends of the blade sections(14, 15), while the nozzle is situated between the latter at a lower level than the seed tube(12). |
