<p>PURPOSE:To obviate the need for the dehumidification of reduction reaction waste gas by the procedure in which part of NH3 synthesis gas is drawn out of a NH3 synthesis gas compressor, the gas is supplied for the reduction reaction of gamma- hematite, etc., and then the reduction reaction waste gas is recycled to a specific portion of NH3 synthesis system. CONSTITUTION:The gas from the NH3 synthesis gas manufacturing process 11 is introduced into the methanator 12, then raised its pressure by the compressor 15, then, cooled by the cooler 14, and lastly sent to the NH3 synthesis process 16. On the other hand, part of NH3 synthesis gas coming out of the cooler 14 is collected, then reduced its pressure by the pressure reducer 17, then raised its temperature to approx. 350 deg.C while passing through the heat exhanger 21 and the heater 18, until the temperature of gamma-hematite, etc. is reached, and lastly sent to the reactor 19 charged with a substance to be reduced, e.g., gamma-hematite, etc. The NH3synthesis gas coming out of the reactor 19 is passed through dust collector 20, and then sent back through the heat exchanger 21 to NH3 synthesis gas pipe right after the outlet of the methanator 12, or an appropriate position at near the inlet of the final compression stage of compressor.</p> |
