PURPOSE:To systematically reduce the quantity of consumed electric power, by limiting the real quantity of consumed electric power below the product of a consumed quantity for a predetermined application period with a reduction ratio only when the real quantity of consumed electric power exceeds a set low leverl. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 having various kinds of control functions as a central controller, a random access memory 4 for storing the results of calculation etc., programmable peripheral interfaces 6-8, switches 9-12 for setting quantities of consumed electric power, switches 13, 14 for setting consumed electric power reduction ratios, etc. are provided. The quantity of consumed electric power for a repeated period is set as a pattern at every optional quantization time. The operation of power distribution line connecting appliances is controlled to limit the real quantitiy of consumed electric power below an optionally set reduction ratio when the real quantity exceeds the set low level. |
