<p>PURPOSE:To preven neglection in closing of a shield block at the time of mounting or removing a magnetic tape to or from a reel holding mechanism by providing a ring type automatic opening and closing mechanism which opens or closes the shield block by opening or closing the front door. CONSTITUTION:When a front door 31 is opened, the retention of a rod 7 which had been retained downward by a door 31 is removed and an angle 11 is turned by the action of a tension speing 17. This causes bars 16, 17 to move in the arrow direction, thereby opening a shield block 2. When a magnetic tape 36 is passed between a magnetic head 1 and shield block 2 and the front door 31 is closed, the rod 7, angle 11 and bars 16, 14 move in the direction opposite from the arrow, by which the shield block 2 is automatically closed.</p> |
