PURPOSE:To improve quick responsibility by causing a rotor, in which a coil body into which a plurality of flat single coils are flatly formed disklike is fixed to a rotating shaft, to face a magnet attached to a casing, and by detecting the position from a code plate installed to the rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of flat single coils 24A to 24C are adhered to a supporting plate 23 to form a flat coil 12, which is secured to a shaft 11 and by bearings 22 releasably supported with a perfect freedom of rotation to form a rotor. A magnet 13 facing opposite to a flat coil body 12 is installed to a bottom plate 19 of a casing 14 to form a stator. A code plate 15 is secured to the end section to which the shaft 11 is projected from the casing 14 upwards. The code plate 15 is rolled between a light emitting element 30 and a photodetector 31. From the positions of slits 27 to 29 provided to the code plate 15 the rotating positions are detected. By switching over the current to cause to flow to the flat single coils 24A to 24C, the rotor is rotated normally and reversely. In this way, the rotor is made light in weight, its access time shortened and the quick responsibility improved. |
