<p>A drying unit for flat fabrics, using fresh air to supply the drying chambers, has a drying assembly with heat exchangers located at the air outlet. The drying assembly is divided into a number of sections with a heat exchanger serving two or three sections. The heat exchanger is located above the box-shaped drying assembly. The inlet feed for the fresh air and the exhaust for the used air are connected to various sections of the drying equipment. A filter is incorporated in the air suction channel in front of the heat exchanger surfaces. The use of the hot exhaust air to warm the incoming drying air reduces energy consumption costs.</p> |
