The cine camera uses a separate motor for the film transport mechanism, the rotary shutter mechanism and sprocket wheel. The three motors are harmonised via a control circuit. Pref. each motor comprises a stepping motor controlled by pulses from a common clock pulse generator. A frequency converter stage is coupled between the latter and at least one of the motors with a respective drive stage preceding each motor together with a switch for deactivating the motor. This switch may be coupled via a control device to a comparator for comparing signals representing the actual and required motor speeds.
