<p>The sound insulating cladding used round large noise-generating machines such as compressors, generators, or turbines, or for forming quiet booths in a factory workshop comprises self supporting grid-pattern panels with metal profile edge areas and with insulation packing between a perforated plate on one side and closed over plate on the other, each plate being individually releasable. The fixture elements, bridging joint gaps between panels, are in the form of spaced pairs of metal clamps (7) establishing a set joint gap size, with a connecting screw (8). In position, the joint gap is covered by an insulating profile unit. Connection is stress-resistant.</p> |
