PURPOSE:To prevent a splashing of drain water caused by a sucking of air into a drain pipe from being carried out by a method wherein a drain splashing preventing fitting is arranged at an upper part of a drain port of a drain pan. CONSTITUTION:A drain splashing preventing fitting 1 is arranged on a drain pan 2 and a water discharging port 10. The drain splashing preventing fitting 1 is comprised of, for example, a plate closing a rear side of the water discharg ing port 10 and another plate covering an upper side. A removable closing plate 5 is fixed to a right side. A left side becomes an opening 11 to act as air and drain water inlet or outlet port. A longitudinal recess hole of the fixing plate 6 is fitted to a welding nut of the drain pan 2 so as to eliminate a right and left vibration. The upper plate of the drain splashing preventing fitting 1 is bent in compliance with an angle of the drain pan so as to prevent its forward are rearward movement. With this arrangement as above, much of the drain water splashed by an inverse flow of air may strike against a rear surface plate of the splash preventing fitting 1, the upper plate and the closing plate near the discharging port 10 and then the water drops onto the drain pan 2. |
