<p>The drive unit uses an i.c. engine and at least one auxiliary set driven by it, as in automotive applications. Between the engine (1) and the auxiliary unit (12, 13, 14) a gear is arranged which has variable transmission dependent upon engine speed. The gear (3) in order to maintain a very constant independent auxiliary unit (12, 13, 14) speed, has a transmission which is stepless adjustable by means of a speed governor (6). Several auxiliary units (12, 13, 14) are arranged in a series, module fashion, on a common shaft (8) which passes through all of them.</p> |
