<p>The coupling arrangement comprises a number of inflatable tubes forming a base and side walls and may be attached to a rescue vessel. The tubes are attached to a platform of flexible material which is stabilised by a water sack, hanging underneath the platform. The sides of the platform carry two sets of semicircular inflatable tubes which may be used as supports for two persons. The supports and the towing tubes are inflated from the same source. The base member may be made of glass reinforced plastics with a textile covering.</p> |
