PURPOSE:To omit the decision whether or not the partner computer is the backup- use computer in case the data is transferred to other computers via the common memory in the system comprising plural units of computers. CONSTITUTION:Three units of the computer comprising central arithmetic control unit 11, main memory 12 and interruption control unit 13 are connected to common memory 14 to which each computer can give an access. Address 0 of the common memory is connected to unit 13a and 13c, and address 1 is connected to unit 13b and 13c respectively. When the computer of unit 11a writes the data into address 1 of memory 14, the interruption signal is applied to unit 13b and 13c. In this case, if the computer comprising unit 13b has some fault, the interruption to unit 13b is ignored automatically and the computer comprising unit 13c backs up to make effective the interruption to unit 13c. |
