Indicia formation by transfer of thermoplastic signs - from temporary carrier sheet to indicia sheet, using heat and pressure

Indicia are composed using a transfer comprising a transparent sheet carrying on one surface transferable signs. The signs are transferred by adhesion on a temporary sheet in the reqd. order to form the text of the indicia, and then again transferred from the temporary sheet, by heat and pressure, on a transparent or translucent indicia sheet. The signs are made of a material which is such that on detaching the temporary sheet the signs remain on the index sheet. Indicia with a more pleasant appearance and with good durability can be produced.
