Switching signals between carrier and PCM system - uses signal receivers and outgoing converter with multiplexer and processing unit

A converter is also used between PCM and a carrier system. The converter has in the first case a signal receiver and an outgoing signal converter, and in the second case an incoming converter and a signal transmitter. The signal receivers (13) have a decision device with fixed threshold, and deliver signals with a logic level. An outgoing signal converter has an input multiplexer (14) and an output signal processing unit (15). An incoming signal converter has an input signal processing unit and an output signal demultiplexer and store delivering binary signals with logic levels. Signal transmitters process these binary signals.
