The system produces a hollow concrete column or beam in a horizontal direction, round which the concrete is poured. The core is a double-walled hose (9) of rubber or plastic, open at one or both ends, and having lengthwise partitions (14) running between the walls (10, 11) so as to divide the intervening space (12) into lengthwise chambers, which are inflated. At the time of ballasted internally by a weight movable in the lengthwise direction, so as to prevent it being lifted by the concrete from the desired position inside the mould. The inner wall (10) of the hose can be appreciably stiffer than the outer one (11).
