Attachment of stabilising weights to agricultural tractors - using rubber bush which expands radially to contact support bar on compression

In order to maintain the stability of agricultural tractors it is sometimes necessary to fit additional weights (3). The weights (3) have a slot (4) which engages the support bar (2) attached to the tractor. The weight (3) is locked to the bar (2) by means of a rubber bush (6) which fits in a circular recess (5) on the edge of the slot (4). When the bush (6) is compressed axially by a bolt (7) it expands radially and presses against the bar (2) and so clamps the weight in position so that it is not affected by vibration or shock.
