<p>Fine fractions of natural MgO-contg. prods. (specifically fines from the asbestos industry) with a particle size of 300 mu are claimed with reference to claims 1-6 of FR 7335923 (which relates to fines with a particle size of 100 mu). Also claimed are hydrophilic substrates for retaining water in arid soils, comprising the above fines, which are moistened, compressed to form granules, platelets, or pellets, and worked into the soil and/or applied in the form of layers and/or placed in the bottom of flower pots, etc. The fines have a high and long-lasting water-retaining capacity.</p> |
