<p>Continuous flow heater for coffee machines contains an electrical tubular heater and along the heater, a thermo-conductively bonded water-distributor pipe of alloy, (I), contg. 5-30% Ni, bal. Cu, in addn. to small quantities of standard impurities, e.g. Fe, Mn, C, Pb, S and Zn. A pref. alloy contains 9-11% Ni, 1-1.8% Fe, 0.5-1% Mn, bal. Cu. Use of alloy (I) allows average brewing temp. to be increased by 2 degrees C without changing the construction of the flow heater.</p> |
