<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the impossibility of activated sludge treatment, by mounting a denitrification tank and a disconnecting tank between an aeration tank and a sedimentation tank, and by preventing the formation of denitrified gas at the sedimentation tank, to obviate the floating of activated sludge at the sedimentation tank. CONSTITUTION:In an activated sludge treatment method that drain is first introduced to an adjusting tank 2 from an inflow pipe 1 to homogenize the quality of water, introduced to an aeration tank 6 and organic matters are decomposed by using oxygen from an admission pipe 4, and introduced to a sedimentation tank 8 to separtate from activated sludge, and treated water 9 is discharged outside the system, a denitrification tank 15 and a disconnecting tank 18 are mounted in order between said aeration tank 6 and sedimentation tank 8. Drain from the aeration tank 6 is introduced to the denitrification tank 15 under an anaerobic condition through a conduit 13 and agitation mixed by means of an agitator 14 with one portion of organic drain from a conduit 12, and mixed liquid is introduced to a disconnecting tank 18 under an aerobic condition through a conduit 16 and aeration treated by air from an admission pipe 17.</p> |
