<p>One part of the windscreen wiper assembly (13) is bedded in plastics and holds a hollow seat of the arm (10) carrying the blade. There is a second hollow seat (15) which locates the end (23) of the oscillating arm (22). The end has an opening (16) to locate on the seat. There is a sliding cover (14) on the second seat (15) which has also retaining teeth engaging the slideway on further seatings. The cover is mouth shaped, with longitudinal edges also fitting on the further seatings. At its top the cover is ribbed, to ensure an easy grip. The parts (13, 14) are slightly pliable, to render assembly more easy.</p> |
