A steel bottle(1) used for transporting liquefied gases at high pressure has a distributor valve(2) screwed into the neck(3). A second valve(11) is secured by two parallel pins (22) which fit tangentially into grooves in the upper valve(11) and the lower valve (2). This feature enables the upper valve(11) to be rotated with respect to the lower valve(2). The to valves(2)(11) are surrounded by a guard with an access window. The method of fixing the upper valve (11) permits it to be rotated to bring its handwheel in line with the access window.
