A container of synthetic material has an extruded wall with flat end edges and injection molded end walls welded to the wall. The end walls are butt-welded on their sides onto the flat end edges of the extruded wall. The wall has three layers extruded as an integral sandwich, the inner layer being foamed plastic and the outer or skin layers being thin externally smooth layers.
