<p>The breaking device comprises a main contact (1) enclosed in a low pressure sealed housing (3) and an auxiliary contact (2) consisting of a sectioning blade (8) and of a horn (7) having a closure range (17) situated between two opening ranges (18 and 19). The closure range (17) of said auxiliary contact (2) extends on either side of the switching position of the main contact (1), and the sectioning blade (8) is within the opening range when the device is in the triggered and untriggered positions. The breaking device is thereby very resistant since the elements of the main contact are protected on one hand from the outer corrosion agents and on the other hand from damaging due to underload switching.</p> |
