Hot-pressed transport pallet - has stepped bosses on feet held by hooks in lengthwise skids

The transport pallet is made of a mixture of disintegrated fibres containing ligno-cellulose and a heat-hardening binding agent formed by hot-pressing. It has a rectangular support plate, and tapering hollow bodies along the centre and sides to form feet. The feet (3) each have at the bottom, a prismatic or cylindrical boss (31), joined to the tapering portion (32) by a shoulder (33) forming a step. Skids (5) are provided, separate from the feet, and extending for the length of the pallet. These have openings (52) shaped to accommodate the bosses and containing locking hooks (53) securing the skids in place after the feet have been inserted in them.
