The assembly includes a tractor-mounted beam which supports a freely mounted shaft. Discs on the shaft support the ends of chains whose other ends are attached to the tractor lift arms. The shaft is driven by the discs and pref. includes a coupling to a rod on which is mounted a further disc. A chain is eccentrically fixed to the latter and is also coupled to the drive connection of a tool. The amount of movement transmitted by the lift arms to the tool is regulated by the disc dia. and eccentricity of the chain coupling points.
