Periscopic aerial with inclined reflectors - are mounted at top of mast and aligned mechanically by control cords

The periscopic aerial consists of one or two rotary passive reflectors (5) mounted at roughly 45 deg. at the top of a mast (1). The mast is fixed by stays (2). The one or more active radiators (4) are located at the foot of the mast and directed at the reflectors. The reflectors are mounted on rectangular frames and rotated/aligned by cords (e.g. four) (15) connecting their corners to points anchored (18) to the ground. The cords transfer forces generated at the anchorage points' aligning mechanisms (16) into rotations at the reflectors about the vertical and horizontal axes.
