PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization and simplification of the title overcurrent protector by lightening the interruption duty of a high-speed circuit breaker in the overcurrent protector in the main circuit of a DC electric rolling stock controller. CONSTITUTION:The title overcurrent protector is equipped with a current detector 3 for detecting a DC inflow current flowing from a feeder 1 via smoothing filter reactor 7 to a circuit, an overcurrent detector 4 for detecting the overcurrent of the inflow current, a high-speed circuit breaker 5 inserted into the circuit of the inflow current to conduct a breaking operation by the output of the overcurrent detector 4, and a thyristor 6 connected in parallel with the filter reactor 7 and ignited by the output of the overcurrent detector 4 to lighten the interruption duty of the high-speed circuit breaker. |
