PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having improved oxidation resistance and photostability without causing adverse influences on photosensitive characteristics of the electrophotographic sensitive body by incorporating a specified amt. of a specified compd. into at least one layer among layers contg. a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:1-50pts.wt.(basing on 100pts.wt. solid content of a binder resin) at least one kind of compd. selected from a group of compds. expressed by the formula I and II is incorporated into at least one layer among layers contg. a binder resin. In the formulas, each R1 and R2 is a same or different group selected from a group consisting of methyl and t-butyl group; each R1-R6 is a 1-4C alkyl group; R7 is an H atom or an alkyl group. The compds. expressed by the formula II and III have each moiety corresponding to hindered phenol and corresponding to hindered amine in each molecule, wherein the moiety corresponding to the former terminates a chain transfer of an oxidation reaction by capturing free radicals generated by the direct oxidation, inhibiting thus initiation of the chain transfer. Thus, oxidation resistance and photostability are improved. |
