Plastics articulated transmission chain - has false links each with lock plates retained by oblong heads on pins formed with check plates

The transmission chain has two slip links each including two pivots whose corresponding ends are connected to check plates. Lock plates are articulated to pins formed with the check plates and coaxial with the pivots. The lock plates are pref. retained in position by oblong heads on the pins, the lock plates being formed with apertures whose shape corresponds to that of the heads. The apertures are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the plates. The lower surface of each head is pref. spaced from the check plates by a distance equal to the thickness of the lock plates.
