1497766 Conveying sheets ANNELIESE FALKENSTEIN [trading as LAGER-UND FORDERTECHNIK] 1 June 1976 [7 June 1975] 22552/76 Heading B8R Sheets 11 are conveyed by pairs of grippers 13, 15 supported on opposite ends of carrier members 9, each member 9 being supported on a member 6 supported by an endless chain and also carrying rollers running along rails 2, 3, the gripper bodies 16 carrying ball-and-spring detents to engage selected recesses 20 in the members 9 to locate the grippers laterally, while the lateral distance between the grippers is adjustable while the conveyer is running by means of cams 22 engaging recesses in the gripper bodies. The grippers can be opened by cams 24 acting vertically on a rack-andpinion mechanism. |
