<p>The automatic packing machine packs quantities of items in hose-type packing material, particularly net. The quantities are delivered by a filler tube into a hose closed at the forward end and pulled onto the tube from a store. The hose is then closed at two points after the quantity and parted off between them. A hose puller mechanism is provided, determining the length of hose dispensed per packing. The storage unit can have a holder sliding along the tube, its stroke determining the dispensed length. The hose can be pulled off a tubular support rearwards in relation to the direction of filling, and then guided forward between support and filler tube.</p> |
