The dial includes a metal plate (1) obtained for example by stamping or moulding with an outside peripheral wall (2), an inside peripheral wall (3) and intermediate walls (10) of arched form extending between two points of the outside wall (2). A layer of plastic is deposited in the various zones delimited by the walls (10), occupying the space between the walls, the various zones being of varied colours.
