CARBON DIOXIDE GAS SENSOR AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide gas sensor having a limited hourly change in characteristic which enables detection of low concentration carbon dioxide gas with a higher resistance thereof to miscellaneous gases such as fluorocarbon, and to provide a production method thereof. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide gas sensor has a ceramic element 1, which contains one or more selected from among metallic oxide and rare earth oxide, one or more selected from among alkali metal carbonate and alkaline earth metal carbonate and a halogen component inside or on the surface thereof. Thus, the ceramic element 1 having a higher resistance thereof to miscellaneous gases such as fluorocarbon can be produced simply.
