The undergrowth clearer has a pressed sheet metal body(1) arranged for connection to the three point linkage of a tractor. The tractor power take off shaft is connected to a gearbox(2) for transmission to the work head(3). The body(1) is stiffened in the longitudinal direction by at least two continuous stiffeners(4) which extend in the direction of the tractor links(5). Intermediate transverse stiffeners(6) extend from stiffeners(4) to the edge of the body and diagonal stiffeners(7) are also provided. Intermediate stiffeners may be provided between the stiffeners(4).
