1534492 Position measuring transformers; coils; printed circuits OLIVETTI CONTROLLO NUMERICO SpA 20 April 1977 [18 May 1976] 16474/77 Headings HIT H1P and H1R In a position measuring transformer wherein a slider comprises sine and cosine winding, with intercalated conductors 26, some of the interconnections 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35 which join up the conductors to form the two windings are formed on the back of the supporting substrate to avoid cross-overs. Figures 3 and 4 (not shown) disclose the conductor printing patterns on the front and the back respectively. In manufacture an insulating board containing glass fibres is clad with copper foil. Interconnecting through holes are machined, and the back face 38 is copper-plated to plate the holes and increase the thickness. The conductor pattern for the interconnections is formed by a photogravure process. Dry acrylic resin adhesive 59 is applied and the board is secured to a plate 21 by heat and pressure. The conductor pattern on the free face 36 is then formed by a photogravure process. |
