Double panel sided air conditioning air duct - has outer panels fitted against extensions on two parallel inner panels

The sides of the air duct, esp. as used for ventilation or venting of air-conditioned interiors, are made up from two insulating panels, with asbestos content, held at an interval apart, both panels being coated with metal foil on the surface facing the inside of the duct (as in 2036259). Here two parallel inside insulating panels (16'), at least, have extensions (30) stretching across the interior space (11) in the duct (10). The corresponding outside insulating panel (15) fits against the end faces (31) of these, and is fastened there. The extended panels can be fastened to the end faces of the intervening inside insulating panels (16). A simplified construction provides enhanced stability.
