The improved portable hydrotherapy bath assembly disclosed is designed for mounting on the side wall of a conventional bathtub and includes a motor housing, an overhead support housing and a pump housing. The motor, pump and overhead support housings are made as a single integral unit with their upper ends being closed by a cover. The motor housing is adapted to be disposed without the bathtub, the overhead support housing is adapted to rest on the tub side wall and pump housing is adapted to be disposed within the tub, with its lower end adapted to be immersed within the water in the tub.
