<p>PURPOSE:To improve safety by isolating one of hydraulic driving circuits judged to be abnormal when the output of a distortion gauge addedly provided at a rudder shaft becomes less than the set value and discriminating a hydraulic driving circuit in trial-and-error damage on the basis of the subsequent abnormality judgment. CONSTITUTION:The distortion generated to a rudder shaft 1 by the force generated at a rudder plate 2 by water flow and the reaction force generated by steering gears 3 is detected by a distortion gauge 4. This distortion is also detected as torque value by means of an amplifier and a converter 5. This torque value is compared with the set torque value at a comparator 6, and when the detected torque value is smaller than the set value due to the failure in the hydraulic system, signals are sent out to an automatic isolation control panel 8. One hydraulic driving circuit is isolated by this control panel 8, and a hydraulic driving circuit in trial-and-error damage is traced on the basis of 'uncontrollable' being detected by a discriminating circuit accompanied by the isolation or 'uncontrollable' not being detected, and this hydraulic driving circuit is isolated.</p> |
