<p>The section element used for assembling equilateral triangles in shop displays etc. is basically a hollow element open at both ends with parallel flat front and back walls connected together by sides which run at an angle of 45 deg. from the front wall to the back wall. The edge formed by the front and side walls forms an angle other than 90 deg. with the edge formed by the end sides and the front wall. With this uniform basic element which can be manufactured by extrusion moulding, different structural elements can be produced by different inclinations of the sections so that different triangles can be assembled. The plane of the end sides forms an angle with the plane of the front and rear walls which may or may not be 90 deg.</p> |
