<p>The deflection circuit has a horizontal deflection current generator to which a horizontal deflection winding is connected, which periodically generates flyback pulses. It has a further a load circuit coupled to the output of the horizontal deflection current generator, and supplied by it. It changes the duration of fly-back pulses by change of the load, in a way causing a scanning pattern distortion. A sensor (60) for the fly-back pulse duration is coupled to the horizontal deflection current generator (24). It generates a control signal corresponding to the fly-back pulse width, and a controllable impedance (32, 36, 40, 42, 44) is coupled to the generator (24) output and to the sensor (60). It compensates the scanning pattern distortion under the control signal control.</p> |
