PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing cost of components and assembling cost thereof thereby to obtain a low-cost high-quality head by arranging the attracting surface of a solenoid core, an outer peripheral surface of a core black and the protruding surface at the center of said core block to be flush. CONSTITUTION:When a current is applied to one or a plurality of solenoids 6 selected by a printing signal, a lever 10 is attracted by a magnetic flux running from a solenoid core 3 to a saucer-shaped yoke 9 and a disk-shaped yoke 13, and therefore a printing wire 17 held at the front end of the lever 10 is stuck in an axial direction to effect printing. In this structure, an outer peripheral surface 2 of a core block 1, an attracting surface 14 of the solenoid core 3 and an upper surface 15 of a columnar protrusion 4 together with a reverse face 5 are processed to be precisely flush through synchronous grinding of both faces. Accordingly, only the size (a) of the yoke 9 in addition to the shape of the lever and the thickness of a damper 30 should be controlled for an attracting gap delta of the lever 10. Moreover, the accuracy of the size (a) can be easily controlled through grinding of both faces of the yoke 9. Therefore, the attracting gap delta can be controlled with high accuracy. |
