<p>The plug halves each have a substrate (1, 11) which both hold clamps (2, 3, 31, 41) to receive an optical fibre (2, 21). On the substrates there are guide elements (5, 51) between which there is room for a guide groove (6, 61) adapted to the dia. of the optical fibres. The guide elements and clamps are arranged in a straight line on the substrates, so that the guide elements on one substrate engage precisely between the clamps of the other substrate when the plug halves are joined together. The substrates can also have extra guides on them. These can be made as guide bridges (7, 71) and guide blocks (8, 81).</p> |
