The bicycle is fitted with an extra set of handlebars set in front of the normal handlebars. The extra handlebars tilt about a transverse axis and are linked to a crank lever to operate a simple chain drive to the front hub. The system provides additional exercise for the arms during cycling. The drive from the arms can be used alternately to that from the legs or in addition for added thrust up hills.
