PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si-based aluminum alloy extruded material which is free from seizure and has a smooth surface, without inhibiting productivity, and a production method therefor.SOLUTION: The Al-Mg-Si-based aluminum alloy extruded material excellent in machinability is provided which contains Si:2.0 to 6.0 mass%, Mg:0.3 to 1.2 mass%, Ti:0.01 to 0.2 mass% with Fe content limited to 0.2 mass% or less and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and in which AlFeSi particles having a diameter of 5 μm or more are present in an amount of 20 or less per area of 50×50 μm, Mg2Si particles having a diameter of 2 μm or more are present in an amount of 20 or less per area of 50×50 μm and ten-point average roughness Rz of an extruded material surface is 80 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
