PURPOSE:To attain mutual communication even between ground stations belonging to a different satellite communication system by designating a group number and a subscriber number to each ground station so as to control each ground station. CONSTITUTION:When a ground station 22 gives a line set request to a subscriber number N, suppose that no group number is designated, then a central line control section 40 confirms the absence of the group number and connects one of idle satellite lines 50 to a ground station 23 in matching with the subscriber number N among ground stations of a satellite communication system 20 to which the ground station 22 belongs. Furthermore, when the ground station 22 designates a line setting request comprising the group number 3 and the subscriber number N, the central line control section 40 recognizes the group number 3 to specify the ground station 32 with the subscriber number N among ground stations belonging to other satellite communication system 30, thereby connecting one of idle satellite lines 50 to the ground station 32. Thus, mutual communication between ground stations is attained even between different communication systems. |
